Landmarks and Locations- Erumara
The Vorshtar Plains- is a barren wasteland located on the north-western end of Erumara, just north of the Eagle Peaks.
There has been several exploration caravans sent into the plains, they came back with little information.
There appear to be a couple of watering holes, they are however not easy to find.
The only a few types of vegetation in the Vorshtar Plains, a type of prickly wheat, tough barked palms, cacti and rough tawny coloured grass.
There have been rare sightings of animals, so far a grey snake with a poisonous bite and several skittish lizards which hid under the sands, and a type of horse they couldn't capture.
Mount Adbyrron - is the largest mountain in the Greywind Mountain Range in Erumara, but this one is famed because it used to be home to the largest dwarven clan many years ago.
Many people have tried to climb it, few have succeeded.
Some say in the shadow of the mountain there is a village inhabited by strange folk but it has never been confirmed.
The Adbyrron Forest- is located between the Eagle Peaks and the Greywind Mountains, and all around Mount Adbyrron. It is home to a small tribe of wood elves.
The Adbyrron Valley- is the name given to the gap that lies between Mount Adbyrron and the Greywind Mountains.
The Kelvish Reefs- is an impenetrable nest of reefs and massive jagged rocks block the northern waterways out of Erumara and Revalsh.
The Eagle Peaks- is a ridgeline of mountains that stretch from Vorshtar Plains to the northern banks of Lake Ildera and pitchforks around Erumara Forest. Scouts have reported a vast network of caves and caverns that run in and under the mountain range. Hardly any of these tunnels have been properly explored and it is suspected that a temple of Kassislek is located within the vast caverns. The mountains were named after the abundance of Erumaran eagles that live along the mountain range.
The Ildera Forest- rests along the northwestern banks of Lake Ildera and to the east of Fort Revenald, and to the west of the Eagle Peaks. The forest is abundant in wildlife, mainly deer, rabbits and small fowl. The forest is best known for the lack of underbrush and variety of tall tree species. It is home to a tribe of moon elves.
Lake Ildera- is a large fresh water lake that lays directly south of Fort Revenald/Asendil. Many fishermen dwell along its banks because of its abundance of aquatic life. The lake feeds many of the rivers that travel south towards Erumara Castle, and it is feed by the runoff from the Eagle Peaks and the Great Northern Plains.
The Great Northern Plains- is the name given to the vast expanse of rolling plains that lay north of Lake Ildera and south of Mount Adbyrron.
The Greywind Mountains- stretch all the way from the Adbyrron Forest to Erumara’s northeastern shore. The wind is rumored to carry the whispering voices of the dead, though no one knows why.
Erumara Forest- is sandwiched between the two southern ranges of the Eagle Peaks. A large manor lies hidden inside the forest, along with a nomadic clan of elves that inhabit the forest. It is home to a large tribe of wood elves.
The Royal Flow- is the large river that travels south from Erumara Forest, through the Salair Desert, through the Great Southern Plains, through Songwood, and then through Mourning Hills to the southern ocean.
Salair Desert- is the desert that is two-hundred miles southwest of Castle Erumara’s southern wall. Its edge, the Forest of Rasaadin, and the Sultan’s Fork mark the fringes of the Desert Kingdom of Merusia.
Rasaadin Forest- lays on the northwestern edge of the Salair Desert and provides the people of Merusia with building materials and fruit. It is home to a small tribe of moon elves.
Salair’s Tongue- is the diverting branch of The Royal Flow that cuts across the Salair Desert to the ocean just south of Rasaadin Forest. The city of Halraa dominates both of its banks for twenty miles towards the ocean.
The Sultan’s Fork- is the diverting branch of The Royal Flow that travels southwest below the Salair Desert.
Dragons’ Scar- is the large patch of land on the southern end of the Salair Desert that is nothing but miles of blackened stone. It is believed to be where a city of old once stood before the Dragons’ rage destroyed it and the land around it. The ruins of that ancient city are scattered throughout the Scar.
Songwood- is a mysterious and captivating forest that lies between the Great Southern Plains and the Mourning Hills. A haunting melody can be heard on the wind for miles around the forest. It is believed that a large community of elves dwell within the forest, though none have ever been reported by explorers into the woods. Though a report of a remarkably maintained grove that is tended at the forest’s heart with a squat stone tower resting in the center of the grove. It is home to a tribe consisting of all the elven races, excluding Drow.
The Great Southern Plains- stretches from the northeastern edge of the Salair Desert all the way south to the southern ocean.
The Mourning Hills- was the final battlefield on which the Blood War was fought. These hills are rumored to be haunted by the souls of who perished on that fateful day that ended the horrific war. They stretch from the eastern edges of Songwood to the Narrow.
The Narrow- is the part of the southern peninsula that narrows in between the Mourning Hills and the Glimmer Hills.
The Glimmer Hills- is the land past the Narrow before the Glimmerwood. They are called the Glimmer Hills because of an abundance of opals that often find their way to the surface and glitter in the sunlight.
The Heartland Plains- are the grasslands south of Lake Ildera and north of the Salair Desert, where Erumara Castle and City can be found.
The Morning Mountains- are the mountains south of Cavahal that stretch towards the Mourning Hills.
The Glimmerwood- is the forest on the eastern edge of the Glimmer Hills and around the base of the Seawind Mountains. It is home to a tribe of sun elves.
The Seawind Mountains- are the mountains located in the Glimmerwood on the western edge of the Coiling Sand Desert on the southeastern end of Erumara’s peninsula.
The Coiling Sand Desert- is the desert on the southeastern end of Erumara’s peninsula. Its name comes from a native snake called the Coiled Deathtongue.
The Shattergloom Forest- is located along the northwestern edge of the Morning Mountains at the north end of the Great Southern Plains. It is home to a tribe of sun elves.
Landmarks and Locations- Revalsh
The Bloodstar Peaks- are the mountains lay southeast of Tréamary and stretch far to the south. They were given the name Bloodstar because of the stranger phenomenon that occurs every ten years, a star appears in the sky and can be seen from anywhere on the Bloodstar Peaks, and shines a bright crimson red until the next morning.
The Devil Spine Mountains- are the mountains that lay directly east of Tréasmary and stretch all around the northern reaches of the continent. They are named the Demon Spine Mountains because the mountains are nearly impossible to traverse do to its steep climbs and razor sharp rocks.
The Bloodmire Woods- is forest located around the Bloodstar Peaks and was once home to one of the largest tribes of elves in Erumara. They openly opposed King Azoth, and so he ordered the Shadowknights to kill them all. Few elves survived the dogged pursuit of the Shadowknights.
The Azoth Barrens- is the stretch of barren plains south of Treasmary. Once a prominent agricultural zone it is now a wasteland because of the vile powers Azoth used to destroy rebels that were still loyal to the original royal family long ago.
The Tyther Hills- is the span of rolling hills southwest of Paravel Manor. It is home to a number of ancient tombs and ruins that have yet to be explored.
The Dwarf Run- is the river that runs the full length of Revalsh into the southern ocean. It originates from a large cavern on the northern end of the continent; the spring there is fed by a network of tunnels that draw water from the northern ocean. It is believed that the dwarves constructed these tunnels to better improve the original river that ran across the land.
The Aloe Wood- is the forest that runs across the inside curve of the Devil Spine Mountains. It is home to a large tribe of wood elves, and the secret Erumaran Citadel of Aloe Glen.
The Azoth Fields- is the all of the rolling grasslands between Aloe Wood and the southern peninsula of Revalsh. Their original name has been lost to time.
The Raven Spear Peninsula- is the name given to the south peninsula of Revalsh, where the capitol city of Delmor, Delbar, is located.
Landmarks and Locations/Islands Palipo
The Noble Mountains- is the name given to the short mountain range that lies a few miles inland from the northern shores.
The Silverwood- is the forest that lies between the northern shores and the Noble Mountains. Its name comes from the silvery frost that clings to the trees for the whole course of the winter months. It is home to a tribe of moon elves.
Landmarks and Locations- Draco Mount & the Wormscale Isles
Draco Mount- is a massive solitary volcanic mountain that juts out of the open water between Revalsh and Elfhaunt. It has never been scaled by any living mortal and is believed to be the tallest mountain in the whole world.
The Wormscale Isles- are a collection of small islands south of Draco Mount, and have never been explored.
Landmarks or Locations- Marduur
Marduur- is the large island east across the open water from Erumara village, where Marduur’s Port and Settleton are located.
Landmarks or Locations- Winterworm Island
Winterworm Island- is the island north of Elfhaunt Isle, where the cities of Winters Eyrie and Winterfell are located.
Worms’ Eye- is a mountain range that stretches across the northwestern edge of the island. Their name came from how when illustrated on a map the mountains form an eye-like shape on the Winterworm Island.
Winterwood- is the forest located just north of Winterfell, and is home to a tribe of wood elves.
The Chillpeaks- are the mountains located on the northern edge of Winterwood.
The Worms’ Wings- is the peninsula located to the east of Winters Eyrie. It is a bare stretch of land surrounded by shallow coral reefs.
The Frost Hills- is the stretch of plains and hills between Winterfell and Winters Eyrie to the north.
Winters Shadow- is the forest located just west of Winters Eyrie. It has been decimated by the greedy inhabitants of Winters Eyrie and the tribe of sun elves that once called it home have been massacred.
Landmarks or Locations- Elfhaunt Isle
Elfhaunt Isle- is a heavily forested island far off the eastern shore of Erumara across from Cavahal. A lone mountain stands on the southern end of the isle, and a thick wood blankets the entire island. Elfhaunt has never been explored by humans for some strange magic prevents magical transportation to the isle, and the large population of elves that are believed to occupy the isle fiercely guard the water and skies around the mysterious isle. The native moon elves of Elfhaunt have refused to provide a reason for their actions to keep humans off the isle, only that it is a matter for elf-kind only.
Kingdoms/Continents
Towns, villages and Fortresses- Erumara
Carvahal- is one of the many small towns of Erumara that grew to a large and thriving city. Carvahal is home to the largest churches of Vallysar and Luna in Erumara. The Duchess of Carvahal, Lura Meshten is rumored to run the Carvahal Institute with practices that are highly frowned upon and allows the Moonwing thieves guild to run unhindered as long as they pay her.
Marduur’s Port- is across a small stretch of ocean from Erumara's grand castle, it is a coastal city and most of the fish wares are caught and shipped from Marduur. When looking for a ship, Marduur is the place to be as well as anyone inspiring to become a fishermen would be well to go to Marduur. It is also known for its wide variety of spices, cloth and other exotic wares as most merchants make port there. The largest churches of Ocea and Ix’Cuat in Erumara are found in Marduur’s Port. Duke Martin Seatra, is the only Duke in Erumara who is not of noble birth, and was given the position for defending the port city with his own fishing galley.
Winterfell- is known for its luxury, only the rich and the famous settle in Winterfell. Winterfell is home to most of the jewelry makers, scholars, artists, and teachers of Erumara. The Duke of Winterfell, Gareth Onate is know by rumor as a weak willed nobleman, and is being controlled by the leaders of the Moonwing thieves’ guild. The largest churches dedicated to Muse and Llorin are found in Winterfell.
Winters Eyrie- is home to the unwanted inhabitants of Winterfell, it makes for an interesting place as it has a lot of varied races living in one place. It is ruled by Sarel Lindon, a puppet of the Society of Assassins who has a large headquarters there. The few peacekeepers there are all corrupt and in the pocket of the Society. It is not an Erumaran city but it falls within Erumara’s borders, though it is an individual community.
Aloa Glenn- is a refuge in the mountains across the ocean, currently it is in hostile territory, however Azoth is unaware of the settlement as of yet. Aloa Glenn is the replacement castle should the king or queen ever be threatened at their current location, because it is so well hidden it is the safest place for them within their own kingdom. A large garrison, a few farmers, and a church of Vallysar occupy the hidden fortress.
Fort Revenald/Asendil- was built a few miles past the northern end of Lake Ildera in the Adbyrron valley to protect the northern settlements. Since its construction, Fort Revenald quickly grew from a simple fortress into a thriving city. Recently the Duke Cyrteris Mraen has been forcibly removed from power by the Shadowcloaks and Marvic Mraen’s rebels. Marvic renamed the city, Asendil, and pronounced himself its King.
Luthien’s Rest- was built a few miles north of Fort Revenald/Asendil by Duke Cyrteris Mraen and his followers when they were forced to flee the city. The small town is surrounded by a strong palisade wall and acts more as a fort than a town. Named after the deceased General Luthien Tedronnis, who gave his life during the rebellion.
Ivan’s Respite- was built a miles east of Fort Revenald/Asendil by Duke Cyrteris Mraen and his followers to prevent the Shadowcloaks from attacking Galvin’s Marina. A palisade fortress with a small town growing within its walls. Named for Ivan Blazewind leader of the Reven Ravens and Duke Cyrteris’ new General.
Castle Erumara- is the oldest fortress on Erumara. It is home to the Erumaran Royal Family, and their seat of power. It is located a few miles southeast of Erumara village on a cliff range that overlooks the bay and sea.
Erumara Village- is the oldest human settlement in the world, built on the ruins of over a dozen previous settlements that have been destroyed and rebuilt over the centuries. For the past hundred years, Erumara village has been stable under the Erumaran Royal family and the peacekeepers, and has steadily grown. The population is close to fifteen thousand, but still bears the title of village to easily distinguish it from any other locations that share the name of Erumara.
Morning Sages’ Monastery- the monks of Casylen constructed this monastery three-hundred years ago on the south-eastern peninsula of Erumara, to practice their Goddess’ teachings of peace and tranquility without being harmed by the endless wars in the world.
Galvin’s Port- is a large port city on the north-eastern shoreline of Erumara. It is home to a vast majority of Erumara’s fishermen, miners, farmers, and loggers. The Duchess of Galvin’s Port, Kareena Helmaster, is one of the most respected officials in Erumara.
Goldshire- is a small town located a few miles southwest from Erumara Castle, just west of the Shattergloom Forest. It is a quiet town that has rarely seen conflict, and provides most of Erumara’s food supplies. Since an attack by the Ysu-Sara-Din, a large garrison of Peacekeepers protects this important community. Duke Carter Tilo is a man possessed of a fiery attitude and strong opinions.
Mesloton- is a rapidly growing town built along the banks of the Royal Flow a few miles north of Songwood. General Kilvos Sunderson and his peacekeeper garrison currently is the acting branch of government for this community, until a Duke/Duchess is selected for the position. Mesloton thrives on its primary exports which are lumber, food stuffs, cotton, leather, and horses. Mesloton though is often skirmishing with the Songwood Elves because of the damage they are causing to the forest.
Settleton- is a prosperous village on the island of Marduur, north and further inland than Marduur’s Port. Settleton is primarily home to the labour force that produces all of the goods that make Marduur’s Port wealthy. Duke Nemlan Isokin manages this small community.
Castle Nelmor- is ancient castle city under Erumaran control that is located a few miles north of the Mourning Hills. It has the smallest population of all of the Erumaran communities, but is arguably the most fortified. Duchess Maryan Crestfire is a reasonable noble and well learned individual.
Castle Helenar- is ancient castle city under Erumaran control that is located a few miles south of Glimmerwood in the Glimmer Hills on the edge of the Coiling Sand Desert. Of all of Erumara communities it is the most isolated and their economy is relatively self-contained. Castle Helenar deals directly with the Morning Sages’ Monastery more often than any other community. Duchess Gelena Suwod is a large bodied lazy woman, who spends more time enjoying luxuries than ruling Castle Helenar.

Halraa- is the “Capital City” of Merusia. Ruled by Sultan Aldin-Sarbi Husa, Halraa is the largest, wealthiest, and strongest of the three Cities of Sand. Halraa’s economy like the other cities is primarily self-contained since relationships between cities are often strained by the conflict of the Sultans. Located close to the Rasaadin Forest, the Southern Ocean, and built on the banks of Salair’s Tongue, Halraa holds a lucrative position.
Muruun- is the second largest city in Merusia. Ruled by Sultan Kaliph Arumn, Muruun comes second for both its size and population, but third for wealth and strength of arms. Muruun is located on the banks of The Royal Flow a few miles northeast of the Sultan’s Fork.
Berasum- is the third largest city in Merusia. Ruled by Sultan Ysulph Darum, Berasum has the smallest population of all three Cities of Sand, but has the second strongest military force and second strongest economy. Located on the southern shoreline a few miles west of the Sultan’s Fork, and a mile south of the Dragons’ Scar, due to its proximity to the ocean Berasum’s economy is primarily fish based. It has the strongest naval power of the three cities, and is also the most isolated of Merusia’s settlements.
Orruna- is a fairly large town built on the banks of The Royal Flow a few miles north of the fork that diverges into the Salair’s Tongue. Just like the few other independent communities of Merusia, the people of Orruna ignore and avoid the conflict between the Sultans, trading willingly with all three and the other small communities.
Uselum- is a small community located on the eastern fringes of the Salair Desert, a few miles west of the Shattergloom Forest. Once a peaceful village often unaffected by the Sultans’ wars has been recently ravaged by a dragon leaving few survivors.
Farsuni- is a large city located along the western coastline a few miles northwest of the northwestern edge of the Dragons’ Scar. It serves as a middle ground between the rival cities of Berasum and Halraa, and has become incredibly wealthy because of it. Churches to a large variety of the gods can be found here.
Towns, villages, and Fortresses- Rash Vok
Rak Verkat- is the second largest city in Rash Vok and is heavily fortified, as it is one of the few cities still standing after the disastrous war with Erumara and the Elves. Its primary contributions to Rash Vok`s economy is lumber and metals from the nearby forest and mountains, and city produces minor amounts of fish from the nearby lake.
Rak Chtoll- is the third largest city in Rash Vok and is an ancient castle city built long ago by some forgotten Rash Vokan King. It produces a large majority of Rash Vok’s metals and jewellery from the extensive mines located in the nearby mountains. It is also the primary training grounds for Rash Vok’s military forces.
Tréasmary- is the capital city of the Kingdom of Rash Vok, King Azoth’s Citadel looms over the sprawling urban streets. Tréasmary is the keystone to the country’s economy and home to a large majority of the kingdom’s people. Kassislek, Ssthis’Thor, Kinaer, Esyrm and Ix’Cuat have large cathedrals dedicated to them there.
Paravel manor - is home to one of the largest vampire covens in Erumara, and for their loyalty to Azoth they are open about their presence. It is located east of the Tyther Hills.
Ismer- was destroyed by the elves of the Aloe Wood a few short years ago when Azoth declared war on them and the Erumaran Empire. Its ruins lie a few miles south of the Aloe Wood.
Calor Rok- was destroyed by the Erumaran Army during the recent war. Its ruins are located along the coast southwest of the Tyther Hills.
Sercht- was a massive citadel that was destroyed by the Erumaran Army during the war; it was where the final battle took place before the ceasefire. Its ruins lie around the southern banks of the Dwarf Run a few miles west of the southwestern edge of the Bloodmire Woods.

Verdana- is a fair sized community located as few miles south of Fort Instar along the coast. It is primarily a fishing community and a key trade hub with the Kingdom of Erumara. Many churches of Luna and Ocea are found in this city.
Westbrook- is located along the western length of the Dwarf Run in Delmoran lands. It produces a majority of Delmor’s agricultural products and has a moderate population. Churches honoring Mintaka and Ilanora can be found here.
Lindmire- is another fair sized community located a few miles southwest of Castle Klena along the southern coast line. It produces primarily fish, silk, cotton, and lumber. Churches of Ocea and Mintaka can be found here.
Delbar- is the capitol city of the quiet kingdom of Delmor and is located nestled in the point of the Raven Spear peninsula. A small castle there houses the Delmor Royal Family. Most of the people of Delmor live in Delbar. Large churches of Manus, Jessamine, and Mausami can be found here.
Castle Klena- is a massive citadel that lies a few miles west of Sercht. It, Fort Instar, and Caslte Relner are the frontline defenses against any possible attacks from the larger kingdom of Rash Vok.
Fort Instar- is a large fortress located a few miles south of Calor Rok along the southwestern coast. It, Castle Klena, and Castle Relner are the frontline defenses against any possible attacks from the larger Kingdom of Rash Vok.
Castle Relner- is a large castle located roughly halfway between Fort Instar and Castle Klena. It, Castle Klena, and Fort Instar form the primary defensive line against Rash Vok should war ever ignite.
Kingdoms/Islands

The Halls of Knowledge- is a monolithic structure built by the scholarly god, Amyralden, in 2705,SR. It serves both as a cathedral and library, and is staffed by the large local clergy dedicated to Amyralden. Tomes, Scrolls, and other forms of storing knowledge have been stock piled and organized here for public use from every known culture.
Palipo- is the community that provides the island its name. It is a large peaceful city that grew rapidly in the valleys and coastlines south of the Legendary Halls of Knowledge. Palipo is home to many refugees that have fled warring kingdoms to the neutral lands of Palipo, where a great monastery of Amyralden protects the land.

Dragons’ Scar- is the large patch of land on the southern end of the Salair Desert that is nothing but miles of blackened stone. It is believed to be where a city of old once stood before the Dragons’ rage destroyed it and the land around it. The ruins of that ancient city are scattered throughout the Scar.
Songwood- is a mysterious and captivating forest that lies between the Great Southern Plains and the Mourning Hills. A haunting melody can be heard on the wind for miles around the forest. It is believed that a large community of elves dwell within the forest, though none have ever been reported by explorers into the woods. Though a report of a remarkably maintained grove that is tended at the forest’s heart with a squat stone tower resting in the center of the grove. It is home to a tribe consisting of all the elven races, excluding Drow.
The Great Southern Plains- stretches from the northeastern edge of the Salair Desert all the way south to the southern ocean.
The Mourning Hills- was the final battlefield on which the Blood War was fought. These hills are rumored to be haunted by the souls of who perished on that fateful day that ended the horrific war. They stretch from the eastern edges of Songwood to the Narrow.
The Narrow- is the part of the southern peninsula that narrows in between the Mourning Hills and the Glimmer Hills.
The Glimmer Hills- is the land past the Narrow before the Glimmerwood. They are called the Glimmer Hills because of an abundance of opals that often find their way to the surface and glitter in the sunlight.
The Heartland Plains- are the grasslands south of Lake Ildera and north of the Salair Desert, where Erumara Castle and City can be found.
The Morning Mountains- are the mountains south of Cavahal that stretch towards the Mourning Hills.
The Glimmerwood- is the forest on the eastern edge of the Glimmer Hills and around the base of the Seawind Mountains. It is home to a tribe of sun elves.
The Seawind Mountains- are the mountains located in the Glimmerwood on the western edge of the Coiling Sand Desert on the southeastern end of Erumara’s peninsula.
The Coiling Sand Desert- is the desert on the southeastern end of Erumara’s peninsula. Its name comes from a native snake called the Coiled Deathtongue.
The Shattergloom Forest- is located along the northwestern edge of the Morning Mountains at the north end of the Great Southern Plains. It is home to a tribe of sun elves.
Landmarks and Locations- Revalsh
The Bloodstar Peaks- are the mountains lay southeast of Tréamary and stretch far to the south. They were given the name Bloodstar because of the stranger phenomenon that occurs every ten years, a star appears in the sky and can be seen from anywhere on the Bloodstar Peaks, and shines a bright crimson red until the next morning.
The Devil Spine Mountains- are the mountains that lay directly east of Tréasmary and stretch all around the northern reaches of the continent. They are named the Demon Spine Mountains because the mountains are nearly impossible to traverse do to its steep climbs and razor sharp rocks.
The Bloodmire Woods- is forest located around the Bloodstar Peaks and was once home to one of the largest tribes of elves in Erumara. They openly opposed King Azoth, and so he ordered the Shadowknights to kill them all. Few elves survived the dogged pursuit of the Shadowknights.
The Azoth Barrens- is the stretch of barren plains south of Treasmary. Once a prominent agricultural zone it is now a wasteland because of the vile powers Azoth used to destroy rebels that were still loyal to the original royal family long ago.
The Tyther Hills- is the span of rolling hills southwest of Paravel Manor. It is home to a number of ancient tombs and ruins that have yet to be explored.
The Dwarf Run- is the river that runs the full length of Revalsh into the southern ocean. It originates from a large cavern on the northern end of the continent; the spring there is fed by a network of tunnels that draw water from the northern ocean. It is believed that the dwarves constructed these tunnels to better improve the original river that ran across the land.
The Aloe Wood- is the forest that runs across the inside curve of the Devil Spine Mountains. It is home to a large tribe of wood elves, and the secret Erumaran Citadel of Aloe Glen.
The Azoth Fields- is the all of the rolling grasslands between Aloe Wood and the southern peninsula of Revalsh. Their original name has been lost to time.
The Raven Spear Peninsula- is the name given to the south peninsula of Revalsh, where the capitol city of Delmor, Delbar, is located.
Landmarks and Locations/Islands Palipo
The Noble Mountains- is the name given to the short mountain range that lies a few miles inland from the northern shores.
The Silverwood- is the forest that lies between the northern shores and the Noble Mountains. Its name comes from the silvery frost that clings to the trees for the whole course of the winter months. It is home to a tribe of moon elves.
Landmarks and Locations- Draco Mount & the Wormscale Isles
Draco Mount- is a massive solitary volcanic mountain that juts out of the open water between Revalsh and Elfhaunt. It has never been scaled by any living mortal and is believed to be the tallest mountain in the whole world.
The Wormscale Isles- are a collection of small islands south of Draco Mount, and have never been explored.
Landmarks or Locations- Marduur
Marduur- is the large island east across the open water from Erumara village, where Marduur’s Port and Settleton are located.
Landmarks or Locations- Winterworm Island
Winterworm Island- is the island north of Elfhaunt Isle, where the cities of Winters Eyrie and Winterfell are located.
Worms’ Eye- is a mountain range that stretches across the northwestern edge of the island. Their name came from how when illustrated on a map the mountains form an eye-like shape on the Winterworm Island.
Winterwood- is the forest located just north of Winterfell, and is home to a tribe of wood elves.
The Chillpeaks- are the mountains located on the northern edge of Winterwood.
The Worms’ Wings- is the peninsula located to the east of Winters Eyrie. It is a bare stretch of land surrounded by shallow coral reefs.
The Frost Hills- is the stretch of plains and hills between Winterfell and Winters Eyrie to the north.
Winters Shadow- is the forest located just west of Winters Eyrie. It has been decimated by the greedy inhabitants of Winters Eyrie and the tribe of sun elves that once called it home have been massacred.
Landmarks or Locations- Elfhaunt Isle
Elfhaunt Isle- is a heavily forested island far off the eastern shore of Erumara across from Cavahal. A lone mountain stands on the southern end of the isle, and a thick wood blankets the entire island. Elfhaunt has never been explored by humans for some strange magic prevents magical transportation to the isle, and the large population of elves that are believed to occupy the isle fiercely guard the water and skies around the mysterious isle. The native moon elves of Elfhaunt have refused to provide a reason for their actions to keep humans off the isle, only that it is a matter for elf-kind only.
Kingdoms/Continents
Towns, villages and Fortresses- Erumara
Carvahal- is one of the many small towns of Erumara that grew to a large and thriving city. Carvahal is home to the largest churches of Vallysar and Luna in Erumara. The Duchess of Carvahal, Lura Meshten is rumored to run the Carvahal Institute with practices that are highly frowned upon and allows the Moonwing thieves guild to run unhindered as long as they pay her.
Marduur’s Port- is across a small stretch of ocean from Erumara's grand castle, it is a coastal city and most of the fish wares are caught and shipped from Marduur. When looking for a ship, Marduur is the place to be as well as anyone inspiring to become a fishermen would be well to go to Marduur. It is also known for its wide variety of spices, cloth and other exotic wares as most merchants make port there. The largest churches of Ocea and Ix’Cuat in Erumara are found in Marduur’s Port. Duke Martin Seatra, is the only Duke in Erumara who is not of noble birth, and was given the position for defending the port city with his own fishing galley.
Winterfell- is known for its luxury, only the rich and the famous settle in Winterfell. Winterfell is home to most of the jewelry makers, scholars, artists, and teachers of Erumara. The Duke of Winterfell, Gareth Onate is know by rumor as a weak willed nobleman, and is being controlled by the leaders of the Moonwing thieves’ guild. The largest churches dedicated to Muse and Llorin are found in Winterfell.
Winters Eyrie- is home to the unwanted inhabitants of Winterfell, it makes for an interesting place as it has a lot of varied races living in one place. It is ruled by Sarel Lindon, a puppet of the Society of Assassins who has a large headquarters there. The few peacekeepers there are all corrupt and in the pocket of the Society. It is not an Erumaran city but it falls within Erumara’s borders, though it is an individual community.
Aloa Glenn- is a refuge in the mountains across the ocean, currently it is in hostile territory, however Azoth is unaware of the settlement as of yet. Aloa Glenn is the replacement castle should the king or queen ever be threatened at their current location, because it is so well hidden it is the safest place for them within their own kingdom. A large garrison, a few farmers, and a church of Vallysar occupy the hidden fortress.
Fort Revenald/Asendil- was built a few miles past the northern end of Lake Ildera in the Adbyrron valley to protect the northern settlements. Since its construction, Fort Revenald quickly grew from a simple fortress into a thriving city. Recently the Duke Cyrteris Mraen has been forcibly removed from power by the Shadowcloaks and Marvic Mraen’s rebels. Marvic renamed the city, Asendil, and pronounced himself its King.
Luthien’s Rest- was built a few miles north of Fort Revenald/Asendil by Duke Cyrteris Mraen and his followers when they were forced to flee the city. The small town is surrounded by a strong palisade wall and acts more as a fort than a town. Named after the deceased General Luthien Tedronnis, who gave his life during the rebellion.
Ivan’s Respite- was built a miles east of Fort Revenald/Asendil by Duke Cyrteris Mraen and his followers to prevent the Shadowcloaks from attacking Galvin’s Marina. A palisade fortress with a small town growing within its walls. Named for Ivan Blazewind leader of the Reven Ravens and Duke Cyrteris’ new General.
Castle Erumara- is the oldest fortress on Erumara. It is home to the Erumaran Royal Family, and their seat of power. It is located a few miles southeast of Erumara village on a cliff range that overlooks the bay and sea.
Erumara Village- is the oldest human settlement in the world, built on the ruins of over a dozen previous settlements that have been destroyed and rebuilt over the centuries. For the past hundred years, Erumara village has been stable under the Erumaran Royal family and the peacekeepers, and has steadily grown. The population is close to fifteen thousand, but still bears the title of village to easily distinguish it from any other locations that share the name of Erumara.
Morning Sages’ Monastery- the monks of Casylen constructed this monastery three-hundred years ago on the south-eastern peninsula of Erumara, to practice their Goddess’ teachings of peace and tranquility without being harmed by the endless wars in the world.
Galvin’s Port- is a large port city on the north-eastern shoreline of Erumara. It is home to a vast majority of Erumara’s fishermen, miners, farmers, and loggers. The Duchess of Galvin’s Port, Kareena Helmaster, is one of the most respected officials in Erumara.
Goldshire- is a small town located a few miles southwest from Erumara Castle, just west of the Shattergloom Forest. It is a quiet town that has rarely seen conflict, and provides most of Erumara’s food supplies. Since an attack by the Ysu-Sara-Din, a large garrison of Peacekeepers protects this important community. Duke Carter Tilo is a man possessed of a fiery attitude and strong opinions.
Mesloton- is a rapidly growing town built along the banks of the Royal Flow a few miles north of Songwood. General Kilvos Sunderson and his peacekeeper garrison currently is the acting branch of government for this community, until a Duke/Duchess is selected for the position. Mesloton thrives on its primary exports which are lumber, food stuffs, cotton, leather, and horses. Mesloton though is often skirmishing with the Songwood Elves because of the damage they are causing to the forest.
Settleton- is a prosperous village on the island of Marduur, north and further inland than Marduur’s Port. Settleton is primarily home to the labour force that produces all of the goods that make Marduur’s Port wealthy. Duke Nemlan Isokin manages this small community.
Castle Nelmor- is ancient castle city under Erumaran control that is located a few miles north of the Mourning Hills. It has the smallest population of all of the Erumaran communities, but is arguably the most fortified. Duchess Maryan Crestfire is a reasonable noble and well learned individual.
Castle Helenar- is ancient castle city under Erumaran control that is located a few miles south of Glimmerwood in the Glimmer Hills on the edge of the Coiling Sand Desert. Of all of Erumara communities it is the most isolated and their economy is relatively self-contained. Castle Helenar deals directly with the Morning Sages’ Monastery more often than any other community. Duchess Gelena Suwod is a large bodied lazy woman, who spends more time enjoying luxuries than ruling Castle Helenar.
Towns, villages, and Fortresses-Merusia
Halraa- is the “Capital City” of Merusia. Ruled by Sultan Aldin-Sarbi Husa, Halraa is the largest, wealthiest, and strongest of the three Cities of Sand. Halraa’s economy like the other cities is primarily self-contained since relationships between cities are often strained by the conflict of the Sultans. Located close to the Rasaadin Forest, the Southern Ocean, and built on the banks of Salair’s Tongue, Halraa holds a lucrative position.
Muruun- is the second largest city in Merusia. Ruled by Sultan Kaliph Arumn, Muruun comes second for both its size and population, but third for wealth and strength of arms. Muruun is located on the banks of The Royal Flow a few miles northeast of the Sultan’s Fork.
Berasum- is the third largest city in Merusia. Ruled by Sultan Ysulph Darum, Berasum has the smallest population of all three Cities of Sand, but has the second strongest military force and second strongest economy. Located on the southern shoreline a few miles west of the Sultan’s Fork, and a mile south of the Dragons’ Scar, due to its proximity to the ocean Berasum’s economy is primarily fish based. It has the strongest naval power of the three cities, and is also the most isolated of Merusia’s settlements.
Orruna- is a fairly large town built on the banks of The Royal Flow a few miles north of the fork that diverges into the Salair’s Tongue. Just like the few other independent communities of Merusia, the people of Orruna ignore and avoid the conflict between the Sultans, trading willingly with all three and the other small communities.
Uselum- is a small community located on the eastern fringes of the Salair Desert, a few miles west of the Shattergloom Forest. Once a peaceful village often unaffected by the Sultans’ wars has been recently ravaged by a dragon leaving few survivors.
Farsuni- is a large city located along the western coastline a few miles northwest of the northwestern edge of the Dragons’ Scar. It serves as a middle ground between the rival cities of Berasum and Halraa, and has become incredibly wealthy because of it. Churches to a large variety of the gods can be found here.
Towns, villages, and Fortresses- Rash Vok
Rak Verkat- is the second largest city in Rash Vok and is heavily fortified, as it is one of the few cities still standing after the disastrous war with Erumara and the Elves. Its primary contributions to Rash Vok`s economy is lumber and metals from the nearby forest and mountains, and city produces minor amounts of fish from the nearby lake.
Rak Chtoll- is the third largest city in Rash Vok and is an ancient castle city built long ago by some forgotten Rash Vokan King. It produces a large majority of Rash Vok’s metals and jewellery from the extensive mines located in the nearby mountains. It is also the primary training grounds for Rash Vok’s military forces.
Tréasmary- is the capital city of the Kingdom of Rash Vok, King Azoth’s Citadel looms over the sprawling urban streets. Tréasmary is the keystone to the country’s economy and home to a large majority of the kingdom’s people. Kassislek, Ssthis’Thor, Kinaer, Esyrm and Ix’Cuat have large cathedrals dedicated to them there.
Paravel manor - is home to one of the largest vampire covens in Erumara, and for their loyalty to Azoth they are open about their presence. It is located east of the Tyther Hills.
Ismer- was destroyed by the elves of the Aloe Wood a few short years ago when Azoth declared war on them and the Erumaran Empire. Its ruins lie a few miles south of the Aloe Wood.
Calor Rok- was destroyed by the Erumaran Army during the recent war. Its ruins are located along the coast southwest of the Tyther Hills.
Sercht- was a massive citadel that was destroyed by the Erumaran Army during the war; it was where the final battle took place before the ceasefire. Its ruins lie around the southern banks of the Dwarf Run a few miles west of the southwestern edge of the Bloodmire Woods.
Towns, villages, and Fortresses-Delmor
Verdana- is a fair sized community located as few miles south of Fort Instar along the coast. It is primarily a fishing community and a key trade hub with the Kingdom of Erumara. Many churches of Luna and Ocea are found in this city.
Westbrook- is located along the western length of the Dwarf Run in Delmoran lands. It produces a majority of Delmor’s agricultural products and has a moderate population. Churches honoring Mintaka and Ilanora can be found here.
Lindmire- is another fair sized community located a few miles southwest of Castle Klena along the southern coast line. It produces primarily fish, silk, cotton, and lumber. Churches of Ocea and Mintaka can be found here.
Delbar- is the capitol city of the quiet kingdom of Delmor and is located nestled in the point of the Raven Spear peninsula. A small castle there houses the Delmor Royal Family. Most of the people of Delmor live in Delbar. Large churches of Manus, Jessamine, and Mausami can be found here.
Castle Klena- is a massive citadel that lies a few miles west of Sercht. It, Fort Instar, and Caslte Relner are the frontline defenses against any possible attacks from the larger kingdom of Rash Vok.
Fort Instar- is a large fortress located a few miles south of Calor Rok along the southwestern coast. It, Castle Klena, and Castle Relner are the frontline defenses against any possible attacks from the larger Kingdom of Rash Vok.
Castle Relner- is a large castle located roughly halfway between Fort Instar and Castle Klena. It, Castle Klena, and Fort Instar form the primary defensive line against Rash Vok should war ever ignite.
Kingdoms/Islands
Towns, villages, and Fortresses-Palipo
The Halls of Knowledge- is a monolithic structure built by the scholarly god, Amyralden, in 2705,SR. It serves both as a cathedral and library, and is staffed by the large local clergy dedicated to Amyralden. Tomes, Scrolls, and other forms of storing knowledge have been stock piled and organized here for public use from every known culture.
Palipo- is the community that provides the island its name. It is a large peaceful city that grew rapidly in the valleys and coastlines south of the Legendary Halls of Knowledge. Palipo is home to many refugees that have fled warring kingdoms to the neutral lands of Palipo, where a great monastery of Amyralden protects the land.
