Basically if you invent a race or profession that you feel needs some explanations or generally lay down some rules in case other players decide to use the same race and make some mistakes. Pretty much you can put a background of them in here, like where they originated from, are there limits to their powers, what characteristics are common among that race etc.
Feel free to add as many as you like, you can also add information that you believe is noteworthy. I do ask that if you add information you do it as following

You don't have to own a character of the race you want to add information about. If however either me or Dracafrey have issues with a particular race we might ask you to make some changes, for the well being of the storyline. It will always be good reasons, nothing along the lines of 'just doesn't sound cool' or anything like that.
I'll set an example by adding those I already deemed inhabitants of Erumara and laying down some character rules for those races.
Pixies and fairies
Pixies are the typical inhabitants of a very different world akin to a parallel universe where they abode amidst gardens and fields, forests and mountains, rivers and seas and indeed practically anywhere they fancy. Fairyland, where pixies and fairies dwell is a "magical" place where things are simply magical and where time passes at a different pace than the human physical realm. The inhabitants of Fairyland can manifest as whirlwinds, dust storms, rainstorms, or breezes, etc. when they visit the human realm.
Pixies are the size of a hand palm, they have dragonfly wings that burst with dust of different colours depending on the mood of the pixie. They are basically humanoid in appearance and wear clothes spun out of spider silk. They are armed with tiny swords made of fairy steel usually stolen after a battle between the two, pixies like to live in heavily flowered areas, eating the pollen and honey created from the flowers. Pixies are almost extinct due to the fact their dust is coveted by those who practise blood magic, a captured pixie only lives for a week before dying of loneliness.
Fairies are the same size as a pixie, they are black in skin with butterfly wings, their faces are smushed with large fangs, almost vampiric. they are carnivores and eat insects, this generally leads to animostiy between fairies and pixies for during the hunt for insects they do not care about the flowers their destroy.
Magae.
Professions of the magae: blood/dark magic, ley line magic, earth magic
Magae is merely a collective name to describe those who have the ability to kindle magic, they can be of any race.
Blood magic: also known as dark magic and necromancy, is the art of magic that requires blood sacrifice or a sacrifice of portions of ones soul, regarded as smut on ones aura. Blood magic allows you to mix spells with ingredients such as a human heart or even something as small as a drop of blood drawn on the waxing moon. Spells can be preserved within potions or charms (wooden disks the size of a penny with a hole in the centre) for the duration of a lunar cycle necromancy requires the caster to place themselves into a protective circle, bound by dust collected from pixies before they can summon a soul back into a dead body. If the necromancer does not place himself/herself into a circle the animated dead will immediately turn upon the caster and kill them by dragging them into the depths. Once a circle has been set, it can only be broken by the person who set it by touching it, it also serves as a temporary barrier, anything inside the circle can’t get out, anything outside of the circle can’t get in.
Ley line magic: ley lines are magic lines that run criss cross across all continents, those proficient in this art simply tap the line, gather the required amount of power within themselves and by using ley line gestures and incantation, bind the power into the spell desired. The amount of power drawn from a ley line is different per person, too much of the power will fry your brain and leave the caster insane. If the intent of a ley line spell is harmful it will leave a black mark or smut on your aura. A spell can be bounced back to its original owner if not focused properly, because the spell is formed from your energy, it can pass through a set circle. All ley line magic requires some form of focal object for the caster to make his or her intent clear. It is considered safe practise to set yourself in a circle when casting any spells to prevent any foreign ingredients to enter into your spell zone.
Earth magic: essentially the same as blood magic, but does not work with blood or body parts, its spells are mixed with only earth ingredients, like dandelion fluff or slivers of iron ore. They can also be stored in potions and charms, there are no lethal spells in earth magic, the most damaging spell in the earth magic arsenal are sleep charms. All arts of magic are taught at magical academy across the countries.
Venusians.
Venusians are an incredibly violent race that is ruled by a matriarchy, their civilization mirrors the Amazonian way of life. The women of this race run the cities and hunt for the livestock to eat, while the men tend to the houses, children and collecting/preparing food. Venusians are naturally much faster and nimbler than elves, they are always red headed, be it a light scarlet or a deep blood red, the closest anyone has ever come to another colour was a dark red auburn. Their eyes range from yellow/golden to light brown/violet. Venusian women are generally armed with bladed weapons, the weapons are chosen at a young age and then are instructed by a mistress of weapons.
They hail from the continent of Venusia, travellers are generally dissuaded to make port at Venusia, especially if they are male.
Vampires.
The vampire virus is not bound by any race, it is a disease that infects the body and changes the carrier. As a result from contracting vampirism the subjects skin pales, the eyes redden, and the canines are enlarged. A Vampire must drink fresh blood in order to maintain their strength at optimal levels.
Vampires are ranked by their age, and the strengths that age bestows upon them.
A fledgling vampire will perish instantly in direct sunlight, perish in the presence of divine symbols, perish at the effects of targeted spells, and perish from lack of feeding.
A Nightwalker vampire will perish instantly in direct sunlight, suffer debilitating weakness in the presence of divine symbols, weaken at the effects of most spells except for the most novice spells, and perish from lack of feeding.
A Bloodbane vampire can survive a few hours in direct sunlight and will suffer debilitating weakness, minor weakness to divine symbols, suffer moderate injury from adept spells, and perish from lack of feeding. They are incredibly stealthy and fleet of foot.
An Ancient vampire will suffer debilitating weakness in direct sunlight, minor weakness to divine symbols, suffer moderate injury from only the strongest of spells, and perish from lack of feeding. They are stronger and faster than any mortal beings, and other vampires. They are incredibly stealthy and fleet of foot.
A vampire can only be slain by their weaknesses (listed above), by being decapitated, or killed with a magically enchanted weapon. Vampires can see in both the infrared and normal spectrum. Vampires either find and join one of the secret covens all over Erumara, or hide amongst the common populace of human cities. Shapeshifters. Shapeshifters are born from humans, though they possess an extra pair of chromosomes that allows them to change form and appearance at will, no one knows where the defunct of chromosomes originates from. Shapeshifters use energy stored within a gem embedded into their skin somewhere, the gem automatically fills with energy allowing the shapeshifter to draw on its energy and change form, the bigger the changes the more energy they consume. It's not limitless and it requires a lot of practise for a shapeshifter to accomplish the form pictured in their mind. When shifting every quality of the intended form must be perfect, or else the shapeshifter will not be able to use the shape to its full potential. Because of the changing nature of the shapeshifters the only way to recognize one properly is by the gem in their skin, which remains visible in every shape. Shapeshifters have the same physical traits as humans, but most shapeshifters tend to forget what their original shape looked like. Because of their uncanny ability to shift they do not have any set locations where they can be found.
Dwarves.
Dwarves are cave-dwelling race that stand no taller than four feet, are naturally twice as strong as the strongest human, and hold great pride in their bushy beards.
Dwarves tend to have no love for humans who think they are tiny little creatures that can be easily bossed around. Dwarves hold great pride in their masonry, metal and gem working skills that are unparalleled by another sentient races. The Dwarven population has been decimated by countless wars with the Drow cities and human empires. Only one Dwarven city remains.
Dwarves tend to have an array of hair, skin, and eye colours. Dwarves can see in the normal spectrum and infrared vision.
The only known clan of Dwarves in Erumara are those of clan Battlehorn
Their average lifespan is 400-500 years.

Vorshtarans.
The Vorshtarans are a nomadic race, like the Venusians are a breed away from humanity, that have ruled the Vorshtar plains for eons. A generally peaceful people, the Vorshtarans tend to guide wanders through the vast wastes. They have only one permanent city in the Vorshtar Plains. Most Vorshtarans travel in nomadic tribes. The city, Kithara, was constructed a few miles east of Mount Adbyrron, it serves as a trading ground and gathering place. The Vorshtaran people tend to have dark skin, light brown to black, and they tend to have lean muscular builds. Vorshtarans are naturally twice as strong as dwarves. Vorshtarans at the age of fourteen are required to get tribal tattoos covering the entire upper half their body, this applies to both sexes. This is a rite of passage for Vorshtaran child to become a true member of Vorshtaran society; if the rite is not performed that child will face exile. Also Vorshtaran’s hair by tribal rights must always be tied back in long dread locks or shaved off completely during the rite of passage or face exile, this applies to both sexes. The Voshtarans tend to wear light clothing because of the desert’s terrible heat, so they wear simple sand coloured outfits made of thin materials to better blend with the barren desert. They are incredibly skilled riders of the desert horses that roam the plains from watering hole to watering hole to eat the naturally growing desert wheat. The Vorshtarans fashion weapons from the tough wood of the desert palms that grow sparsely throughout the desert, mainly crafting bows and staves.
They have the same lifespan as normal humans.
Angels
These mysterious beings are the holy and loyal servants of Almeth’Lo, the god of protection, heroism and compassion. They are entangled in an endless war with Ssthis’Thor’s demonic and abyssal minions; preventing them from entering Erumara and wrecking havoc upon the land. Angels tend to shapeshift into any form they choose in order to blend in with the people of Erumara, and avoid detection from Ssthis’Thor cultists. Angels are inhumanly strong and fast, incredibly intelligent and wise to the world. In natural form Angels have smooth silver, gold or bronze coloured skin, dark coloured hair, stand an average seven feet tall, with white, black, gray or brown bird wings. Angels unlike demons do not require a summoning ceremony to enter Erumara, but are susceptible to banishment spells. Angels that live to see two millennia are ranked as Archangels. Angels are immortal only to the passing of time and can be slain by a magical weapon or spell or creature.

Elves.
The Fair Folk are a dying secretive race that once ruled the known world peacefully alongside the Dwarves, and Dragons. Elves are slightly shorter than humans with a lithe build; they’re notably lighter than humans making them naturally stealthier and fleet of foot. There are three sub-races of Elves: Moon Elves- They tend to have light pale skin with dark hair colours when young and silvery white when their older. Wood Elves- They have a wide array of skin colours and hair colours (Your basic Elf). Sun Elves- They tend to be taller than the other Elven races with darker skin, and bright hair colours. Over the past millennia, The Fair Folks’ numbers have drastically declined because of multiple wars with the humans and the Drow. All of the known Elven Kingdoms have fallen, all that remains are scattered communities that refuse to allow outsiders into their midst. Elves tend to be resentful of humans, since they squandered the knowledge the elves gave them and continue to destroy the forests in which the elves dwell. Elves can see in both the normal spectrum of light and infrared vision.
There are nomadic tribes in every forest and are designated by which forest they dwell in.
Refer to Landmarks, Continents, Kingdoms, and Islands for forest names and the tribes that dwell there.
Elves tend to have an average lifespan of 700-900years.
Drow
The Drow or Dark Elves were once surface dwellers who were corrupted by the Goddess, Maerlithe the Matron of Evil or The Fiend Mother, & her former mate the God Nevraeis, The Lord Supreme or The Slavemaster, the Drow now live in the deep reaches of the earth called the Everdark. Almost every Drow has white hair, red eyes, and obsidian black skin; but there have been exceptions and oddities that tend to get that particular Drow exiled. The Drow are infamously known for their vicious battle tactics, torturous, and slaving ways; along with the fact that their society promotes betrayal, and the murdering of rivals and siblings. Drow born in a Nevraeis worshipping city automatically get a red tattoo of the supremacy chain on their index fingers and a red tattoo of a crossed whip and sword on the back of their hands; each supremacy chain design varies from city to city. Drow see mostly in infrared vision and they can also see in the normal spectrum, but it badly stings their eyes. Some Drow rise above their stereotype and worship the goddess Lysii, a truly benevolent deity who seeks to restore her worshipers to their formerly peaceful way of life.
Drow tend to have an average lifespan of 700-900years.

Half-Elves. Half-Elves have always been rare in Erumara, since for the longest time the union of Elf and Human was prohibited by both species. From being treated as outcasts and exiles, Half-Elves either try their best to hide their heritage or boldly reveal their lineage to show their pride of what they are. Half-Elves either show large amount of Elven traits or Human traits with a small number of traits from the opposite race, or they are almost a perfect blend of the two. They can be tall or short, heavy or thin, dark or pale skinned with any natural hair colour and eye colour; they tend to have slightly pointed ears and be light footed. Not much is known about them since there have never been any pure Half-Elven societies or kingdoms, at least any that have been recorded as of yet. As being part elf they can also see in infrared vision as well as normal lighting.
They live with the nomadic elf tribes or in human cities.
Half-Elves tend to have an average lifespan of 200-350years.

Humans
Humans are the dominant and largest race of Erumara with a number of powerful kingdoms. Humans have a diverse range of hair, skin and eye colours. Humans tend to be between 5’6” and 6’3” tall, with a range of body thickness. Every human’s disposition is different from kingdom to kingdom, city to city, and village to village. Humans also follow the largest variety of divine beings.
Humans have an average lifespan of 80 years.

Jarian
The Jarian are race of strange humanoid beings that are used as slaves by the Drow of the Everdark. They appear mostly human in many physical aspects, but have a few oddities that immediately spate them from humanity and the other sub races of humanity. The Jarian have grey skin ranging from pale grey to a dark granite. The Jarian are an entirely hairless race aside from thin white eyebrows. They tend to between 5’9” and 6’0” tall. They also tend to have lithe bodies. The Jarian have short sharp claws on the ends of their fingers, and a mouth full of sharp canine teeth; though they are omnivores. Their eye colours range from a light lavender to a dark violet. The Drow millennia ago used to raid the surface almost on a daily basis in order to have a large number of slaves to perform tasks the Drow deem beneath them, while they wage an endless war with the Dwarves, the Surface Elves, and other Drow. The Drow often found themselves on the brink of self annihilation because of this destructive way of life. Then one year long ago when they were fleeing from a Dwarven counterattack, the Drow discovered the Jarian living in tight communities far beneath the ground in the Everdark. Since the Jarian were far more primitive then the Drow, their communities were easily destroyed and the population enslaved. The Jarian are an incredible intelligent and creative race, but next to no culture of their own because of the years of Drow oppression. They tend to worship the Goddess Lysii, since they do not have a god/goddess of their own and because Lysii’s faithful have been trying to free the Jarian from their enslavement.
